This is truly the end. *sniffles* While I’ve been eager to conclude this translation (because it’s been going on for sooooo long), I’m actually now sad to let it go.
Shen Xi learns that not every romance has a happy ending, but she will not allow the chance of a potential unhappy ending stop her from loving. ❤ Wishing them all the best.
This last epilogue is more than double the length of an average Proud chapter. I’ll be posting it in two parts. This story will officially be completed next week. 🙂
I have such fond memories of Boston. Touring it “with” Shen Xi has made my mouth water thinking about the lobster and clam chowder. Who could be a better guide than the boyfriend you haven’t seen for almost a year? Hahaha… jealous and petty He Zhi Zhou!

Unfortunately, I had to take my computer in to get fixed. That means I likely won’t be able to get anything out for Proud next week. Even for this posting, I had to dip into my inventory in order to get it out. My apologies. (For those concerned about Healing Sunshine, I also have drafted a couple of updates and those will be scheduled to post at the normal time. If I don’t get my computer back on time and run out of inventory, I’ll let you all know. Hopefully it doesn’t come to that. 😉 )

It’s been more than two years, but… we made it! Woohoo! Peanuts, we can crack out the champagne and have a celebration! This is the final chapter of Proud. Only two more epilogues to follow. I like that little bit of reminiscing that Shen Xi does in here. As we look back, we can see how their relationship has grown. 🙂
Shen Xi’s Saturday date turns out very different from what she had hoped. Even the person she’s with is completely outside of her expectations. We noticed it creeping in before, but the overall tone is much more serious in this chapter. Still, enjoy the super-long chapter.
Everyone has slightly different definitions of love, and everyone loves in different ways. This story is fun, but it’s also about a growing up process for the characters, and that includes Lin Yu Tang. He isn’t perfect, made mistakes, but he’s learned and bowed out gracefully. My heart always feels for him whenever I read this chapter. Shen Xi will always have his well wishes.
I will be on vacation and may only have sporadic access to this blog for the next week and a bit (depending on the reliability of the internet of where I’m going). Proud has been translated ahead of time and scheduled to post at its normal time next week, but I won’t be responding to comments during this time. 🙂
We still have our happy-go-lucky moments, but the story also seems to occasionally take on more of a serious tone here. We are getting glimpses into He Zhi Zhou’s life in his earlier years. But, oh my, that second bonus side story… *covers my eyes*
