Really, Really Miss You (很想很想你) – Epilogue (Part 2) *NOVEL COMPLETED*

Earlier in the year, when I had finished translating the final chapter of the main story, I hadn’t felt really sad about it because I knew there would be more coming in the published book. Now, though, this is truly the end. We truly have to say goodbye to Toupai and Sheng Sheng, their adorable relationship, and their hilarious friends. It’s more candy sweetness in this last post, of course, so let’s all say goodbye with a silly grin on our faces. To all the readers who have loved this novel with me, thank you!! ❤

Really, Really Miss You (很想很想你) – Epilogue (Part 1)

*cold sweat* Last day, when I told you my posting schedule for the next week, I hadn’t clued in how long this epilogue was. So ignore what I said last time. I’m going to split this epilogue into two separate posts, which means Really, Really Miss You will officially conclude this Friday night/Saturday morning. Then, next Tuesday night/Wednesday morning will be Beautiful Bones‘ fun post. Sorry for the confusion. 😓

Answer to last day’s quiz: “Just now, when I saw you kneeling in the great hall, I suddenly felt that, in my previous life, I was a coward.” This line was in chapter 32 of Really, Really Miss You, during the voice-acting competition that Toupai was one of the judges for. Only 1437anis got it. Yay! *sad tears* for everyone else. No one remembers Toupai?

The published book of Really, Really Miss You was finally released at the end of May with one long epilogue added. Out of etiquette and respect to those who paid to buy the books, this epilogue still is not found online in Chinese yet. Since I did buy the book (two copies, in fact!), you guys actually get to read this ahead of many of the Chinese fans. 😉 (Such a different writing style from Beautiful Bones. Jumping right back into translating this story made me feel like I had a split personality.)

Toupai, I heart you. ❤ ❤ ❤  And Sheng Sheng still as lovably dazed and half a beat behind as before.

Really, Really Miss You (很想很想你) – Weibo Random Scenes and Storyline Song

One of the fun things about following these c-novel authors on Weibo is that many of them sometimes post little random scenes of characters from their novels, just for fun. (I’ve seen it from Mo Bao Fei Bao and Ding Mo. Unfortunately, nothing from Gu Man that I know of.) These scenes usually won’t make it into published novels, and often don’t even make it into the online copies that you read. I’ve gathered the little random Weibo scenes for Really, Really Miss You that I have found. (Toupai is naughty!)

Also, a storyline song has been made for Really, Really Miss You. I’ve translated the lyrics for it. Have a listen. 🙂

Really, Really Miss You (很想很想你) – Chapter 53 (FINAL online chapter)

This is it! I can’t believe it, but it’s the final chapter! Thanks to all who have followed along and gushed along with me, whether it be by comment or just secretly squealing. I had a blast!

For those who have asked, yes, the book is being published still.  Last week, Mo Bao Fei Bao said on her Weibo that she had just handed in her draft to the publisher, and the book should be out by May.  She even invited her biggest, most beloved CV idol to write a fore or afterword for it. Yes, there will be additional material that will be in the published book that is not in the current online version.  She gave a sneak-peek to fans on her Weibo of an excerpt, and it had me grinning like a silly girl. She even ties it in to Beautiful Bones (the next book I’m going to translate), which got all the fans excited. 🙂 As to when you’ll see these extra scenes being translated and posted on the blog here, it depends on when I can get my hands on the book, but judging from the past, with a May release date, I won’t be able to get one until at least the summer. Ask me if you ever want an update. 🙂

However, while this is the official end for now, I have a little RRMY treat for all of you for my next post. 🙂  So, Toupai and Sheng Sheng fans, come back on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning.
