50 Most Influential Chinese Romance Internet Novels

I am back, anyone miss me, lol? I could have posted this earlier but was waiting for Lidge’s comments. I think because she has been reading Gu Man’s latest book so she is slow like a tortise, haha…I am following up on my top 35 Guys with 50 Influential Novels. There is a bit of overlap. I don’t really agree with some of their rankings or inclusion but to each its own. I have not read a fair bit of them especially the ancient novels but Lidge is worse than me, haha. Okay, all shall be unveiled now………….

100 Most Attractive Male Characters in Chinese Internet Novels – Part 1

I did 35 Favourite Male Characters before but this is 100 Most Attractive Male Characters:P There is I think 2 overlaps only which are number 92 (no. 35) and number 73 (no. 27). I won’t write anything on books which I’ve not read or know nothing about. In future if I do read them, I’ll edit this post. Please contribute if you’ve read them. This time I’ll include some notable quotes from some books instead of getting Lidge to write some comments since like me, she has not read most of the books. Some are just too lengthy or heavy duty for us. I bet most of you will not be happy with at least one of the ranking. I didn’t compile this list so don’t throw tomatoes at me:P I’ll include the baidu source in part 2. Do stay tune for that because someone you know will be there, hint hint, lol.

Heavy Sweetness, Ash Like Frost (3rd Epilogue)

So, I have just finished Heavy Sweetness, Ash Like Frost by Dian Xian. Overall I enjoyed the book and would recommend anyone wanting to try a xianxia Chinese Novel.

I now leave you with the 3rd epilogue, which closes the main characters’ stories. I decided to translate this because it leaves a lovely sweetness behind and it ties up the main characters’ stories so prettily.

The disclaimer is that chinese is not my first language, and I have taken some artistic liberties with the translation. In other words, it’s not verbatim (and I might have gotten some parts skewed) but I think the important bits are all there. If you see any inaccuracies, let me know and I will correct them.
